Ein Nachfolger Jesu zu sein, fängt mit dem Verständnis des Evangeliums an.
Das Evangelium, ist der Dreh und Angelpunkt des christlichen Glaubens. Nur wenn du verstehst was Jesus für dich getan hat und das er dich unwiderruflich liebt, kannst auch du ihn von ganzem Herzen lieben.
Denn wie willst du jemand bedingungslos vertrauen und lieben wenn du ihn/ sie garnicht verstehst, richtig ?
Evangelium = griech. für „frohe Botschaft“
Es gibt 3 wichtige Kernbotschaften des Evangeliums, einen finden wir in Johannes 3:16
„denn Gott hat die Menschen so sehr geliebt, dass er seinen einzigen Sohn für sie hergab. Jeder, der an ihn glaubt, wird nicht zugrunde gehen, sondern das ewige Leben haben“ & Römer 6:22-23 “ Aber jetzt seid ihr vom Dienst der Sünde befreit und Sklaven Gottes geworden. Das bringt euch den Gewinn eines geheiligten Lebens und im Endergebnis das ewige Leben. 23 Denn der Erlös, der aus der Sünde kommt, ist der Tod, das gnadengeschenk Gottes aber ist das ewige Leben in Jesus Christus, unserem Herrn.
Mit anderen Worten, Errettung findet statt durch den Glauben an Jesus tot und Auferstehung.
Wir alle kennen die Geschichten vom Anfang der Schöpfung, der Sündenfall von Adam und Eva hat uns von Gott getrennt und uns zum Tode verdammt. Jesus ist auf die Erde, als das liebes Symbol Gottes gekommen um genau diese Trennung zu beheben und uns außerdem das ewige Leben was wir aufgrund der Sünde verloren hatten, erneut zu schenken. Der Lohn der Sünde ist und bleibt der Tot, durch Jesus aber der am Kreuz den Preis für uns bezahlte und für uns starb haben wir das ewige Leben wieder erhalten. Nach 3 Tagen ist er auferstanden und hat alles was zerstört und gebrochen war repariert. Wer daran glaubt, der hat die gute Botschaft verstanden.
Als Jesus auf der Erde war, hat er von 2 Dingen am meisten gesprochen, von der Buße und dem Reich Gottes.
Ein Kernpunktes des Evangeliums ist also auch die Buße. Die Bibel sagt in Matthäus 4:17 tut Buße, mit anderen Worten kehrt um von euren schlechten Taten & Denkweisen, ändert eure Einstellung denn die Herrschaft des Himmels (Reich Gottes) ist nah. Das ablegen von Hass, Neid, Egoismus etc., das Sterben des alten „Ichs“ ohne Jesus und das Erwachen des neuen „Ichs“ mit Jesus ist also essenziell für den Wandel mit Gott. Das ist natürlich alles einfacher gesagt als getan, mit Gottes Hilfe aber mehr als möglich.
Es ist wichtig zu verstehen das wir uns Gottes Liebe nicht erkaufen oder verdienen können, auch die Errettung können wir uns nicht verdienen, all das gibt Gott uns umsonst, durch Gnade und Glauben. Er hat uns zuerst geliebt obwohl wir es nicht verdient haben. Dieses Verständnis seiner Liebe zu uns, sollte unser Ansporn für all unser handeln und denken sein.
Als letzten Punkt würde ich gerne auf das Reich Gottes eingehen. Es gibt 2 Reiche die im ständigen Konflikt miteinander sind, das Reich Gottes (Licht) und das Reich Satans (Dunkelheit). Wisse das wenn du dich dazu entschieden hast ein Nachfolger Jesus zu sein, das du dich auch dafür entschieden hast sein Reich zu repräsentieren und auf dieser Erde durchzusetzen. Das Reich Gottes (Gottes Herrschaft) beinhaltet den Willen, die Kraft & Macht, das Wort, die Liebe und das Wesen Gottes. Das Reich Gottes fängt also da an wo wir Gott als Herrn erkennen und anerkennen, einander nach seinem Willen lieben und auch unser Leben nach seinem Willen ausrichten.
Zusammengefasst sind die 3 Kernpunkte des Evangeliums also der Glauben an den Tot und die Auferstehung Christi, der Aufruf zur Buße und das etablieren des Reich Gottes auf dieser Erde.

To be a follower of Christ, starts with the understanding and knowledge of the Gospel, it’s the center of our relationship with Christ. Only if we understand what Jesus did for us and how his love for us will never change, only then can we fulfill the commandment and love christ with all of our heart and strength. I mean how can you love someone unconditionally when you don’t know or understand them right ?
Gospel = greek. for „good telling“
There are 3 core messages of the Gospel I would like to point out, one of them is written in John 3:16 most of you are familiar with it, most christians call it „the heart of the Bibel“, it says “ for God so loved the world that he gave us his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him, shall not perish but have eternal life“ & Romans 6:22-23 But now that you have been freed from sin and have become God’s slaves, the benefit you reap is sanctification, and the result is eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in union with the Messiah Jesus our Lord.
With other words, salvation occurs if you believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
We all know the story of Adam and Eve, how sin separated us from God and doomed us to death. Jesus had to come down to earth as the love symbol of God to rectify the broken bond between us. The wage of sin is death as the Bibel declares, but through Jesus who paid the price by dying at the cross for us, he gifted us eternal life again. He rose from the death after 3 days and everything that was broken was fixed, whoever believes in this message understands the gospel.
During his time on earth, Jesus mostly spoke about to things, repentance and the Kingdom of God.
One core message of the Gospel is repentance as well. the Bibel says in Matthew 4:17 Repent, with other words turn back from your evil ways, change your way of thinking and evil deeds, for the kingdom of heaven is near. Turning your backs on hatred, envy, lying etc. means to let your „old you“ which was perfectly fine with doing those things, die and let the „new you“ who is in alignment with Christ continue to lead, this transformation is actually essential for a successful walk in Christ. Of course it is easier said than done, but we can do all things through Christ, right?
It’s really important to understand the we can not earn the Love of God or eternal life, all that is given to us through grace by faith. He loved us at the beginning and at first, despite of what we did or think we are. The knowledge of that should be our everyday guide and lead.
The last core message I would like to discuss, is the message about the Kingdom of God (Kingdom of heaven). We have to Kingdoms who are in constant conflict with each other, the Kingdom of God (ruling of Light) and the Kingdom of Satan (ruling of darkness). Know, that if you decide to become a follower of Christ, you have also made the decision to represent and accomplish his Kingdom here on earth. The Kingdom of God ( Gods ruling) contains the will, power & Force, the word, the love and the personality of God. So the Kingdom starts where we recognize and acknowledge God as our Lord, love each other according to his will and live according to his will.
To summon everything up, the 3 core messages of the Gospel contain the death and resurrection of Christ, the call to repentance and the establishment of Gods Kingdom on earth.
