They don’t have to stay with you forever

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but people are not obligated to stay with you forever, to go with you through hell or high waters. If it’s not your husband or wife or someone who vowed to stick with you no matter what, they have the right to go and you need to let them.
There are certain people who won’t have the capacity or willingness to stay, and that is okay, they are not fake or bad for doing so. It’s their life and their choice. Stop chasing women, men or friends that clearly don’t love or want you, it’s hard but they made their choice.
My mommy always told me „ don’t let someone tell you they don’t want you twice“ !
Stop convincing yourself that circumstance will change, that if you do more, give more, pretend more, love more, sacrifice more, endure more, things will change and fall back into place. We want to prove to others that we are the ones that made it work, that we are the ones that stick together, the ones that are not the typical cliche…
but babe, you can’t make someone love you, no matter what.
Staying with someone who makes you feel like you are to hard to love, to much to handle, not worthy enough for sacrifice, is the greatest injustice you can do to your own soul. Don’t be afraid of solitude, choose love over company, choose worth over company, choose peace over company. Don’t be afraid, there are over 7 billion faces on this earth, you really sure you won’t find someone who chooses you?
Some of us feel so stuck within, the feeling of carrying to much heavy weight on their shoulders. Let go of death weight, its going to slow you down, make you tired and eventually make you fall. In Fact, Jesus is the only one who vows to be there for you 24/7. The one who truely knows you, who knows your darkest secrets and thoughts. Instead of chasing humans, chase him, chase the potter who formed and created you in the first place. When I realised I can find everything I seek and wish for in Christ Jesus, I understood what „wholeness“ meant.
Divine thoughts in the middle of pandemics and injustice…
